MALE BREAST REDUCTION SURGERY
Gynecomastia is classified to 4 degrees, depeding on the amount of enlarged gland: I, IIa, IIb, III. Generally degrees IIa and III requires not only gland resection, but also skin excision.

GETTING BACK TO NORMAL AFTER MALE BREAST REDUCTION
Walking and using stairs is allowed straight after the operation. Patients may return back to desk work 7-14 days following the surgery. Compression shirt or garment is worn. Your surgeon will give you better estimated time depending on your physical and professional profile.
After 6 weeks the patients may resume more strenuous activities and lifting.
