HOW IS A LABIAPLASTY PERFORMED?
Labiaplasty surgery starts with either local or general anesthesia. After that, the excess skin tissue is measured and marked to be removed with a scalpel to achieve regularity of a labia. During the operation, bleeding must be controlled.
WHAT TYPE OF SUTURES ARE USED?
There are used absorbable sutures for closing the incisions and so stitches does not need to be removed later, after the operation.
WHAT CAN CAUSE ENLARGEMENT OF A LABIA?
It is usually present at birth of a woman, or it may be as a result of childbearing, or age, or weight gain.
HOW LONG DOES THE OPERATION TAKE?
