Breast procedures help to achieve the desired shape and cup size but also the reduction. They are suitable not for women only but also for men. Types of the breast procedures include:
BREAST AUGMENTATION (Augmentation Mammoplasty)
Procedure: | Enhancing the size and the shape of a woman’s breasts using round or anatomical textured Mentor implants. Most often performed on women over 20. |
Length: | One hour. |
Anesthesia: | General. |
In/Outpatient: | Inpatient for one or two nights. |
Side Effects: | Temporary bruising, swelling, numbness and tenderness of breasts and tight feeling. |
Risks: | Infection, bleeding. Poor healing; excessive scarring. Asymmetry, Capsular contraction or displacement of implant. |
Recovery: | Back to work: 10 to 14 days. More strenuous activity: 4 weeks or more. Must limit exposure to sun for several months. |
Duration of Results: | Usually 5 to 10 years. |

BREAST LIFT (Mastopexy)
Procedure: | Lifting of drooping breasts. Can be combined with Augmentation. Most often performed on women over 30 or after pregnancy. |
Length: | Three hours. |
